Fire Rescue Company responsibilities include Vehicle Extrication & Specialized Rescue of Victims. Using various techniques and equipment including Holmatro Rescue Equipment members of Fire Rescue Company are trained to remove victims from scenes of automobile accidents.

In addition to Rescue of Victims at non-fire scenes; on the fire ground members of Fire Rescue Co. act as a second truck company. Members are often tasked with searching the floor above the fire for victims & relaying fire conditions to the incident commander.

As with other companies, members of Fire Rescue Company train of a weekly basis on both Fire & Rescue Techniques. Many members of Fire Rescue Company are certified in Vehicle Extrication by the New York State Office of Fire Prevention & Control.
