Steve Carss
Steven Carss has been a member of the fire department since 1983. He has served the department as lieutenant, captain, treasurer and is currently serving as secretary. In addition, Steven has served on numerous committees including new apparatus and house. He is currently an operator of the heavy duty rescue truck and second line engine.

Robert Kalb
Assistant Treasurer Kalb has been a member of the Garden City Fire Department since 1987. During these 22 years, Treasurer Kalb has been an active member of Truck Company serving company lieutenant and Captain. In 1996 he was voted Fireman of the Year. Treasurer Kalb has been in office for the last 6 years, and also was Treasurer from 1990 – 1996. He also takes care of the Antique Fire Truck for the Fire Department. He was trustee for the Long Island Antique Fire Apparatus Association for 9 years from 1998 – 2007.
